Standard rubber strap brackets are sized to specific cylinder diameters. They require a flat mounting surface and rely on strap tension to hold position. On vehicle frames, equipment cabs, and forklifts, that mounting method fails under sustained vibration. The cylinder shifts, the strap loosens, and the extinguisher base sits in contact with whatever surface moisture collects on.

The Grip Bracket uses a V-type tension assembly that fits all cylinder sizes from 2.5 lb to 30 lb on a single bracket. The V-grip elevates the cylinder base off the mounting surface regardless of orientation. It attaches to curved and irregular surfaces where flat-base brackets cannot seat correctly. That covers the full range of industrial fire safety equipment mounting scenarios: highway trucks, excavators, skid steers, forklifts, locomotives, and conveyors.

Standard vinyl covers carry a UV rating of one to two years and no rated resistance to chemical exposure. The AR Fire cover uses 6-8 mil copolymer construction with a 2-year UV rating and tested resistance to fly ash, fertilizers, and industrial oils. The Caddy configuration carries a 7-year UV rating. The same copolymer material is used across both products. Neither rots, swells, nor traps moisture. Each unit meets NFPA 10 Section 6.1.3.7 requirements for workplace fire protection equipment on job sites, vehicles, and outdoor installations.

Fire extinguisher accessories determine whether a cylinder survives between annual service checks or corrodes past the point of safe use before the inspector arrives. Extinguishers are rated for up to 30 years of service. In harsh industrial environments, the accessories protecting them are often rated for far less. That gap is where early replacements and failed inspections come from. Fire extinguishers installed in demanding environments face accelerated degradation. Water pools at cylinder bases and causes rust from the bottom up. UV exposure breaks down seals and fades labels. Vibration loosens components on mobile equipment. Industrial by-products like fly ash, oil, and fertilizers attack standard finishes. Wooden enclosures rot, swell, and trap moisture against the equipment they're meant to protect. AR Fire heavy duty extinguisher accessories are built from a patented bilayer copolymer that does not absorb moisture, does not react to fly ash or fertilizer contact, and holds structural integrity from -100°C to +100°C. The Caddy body has eight drainage channels molded in to route water and debris away from the cylinder base rather than allowing pooling. In field conditions, those material and design properties extend extinguisher service life up to four times compared to unprotected equipment.
